Cotton Care Instructions: Machine washable cold water. Wash colors separately, do not twist/wring. Tumble dry on a cool setting or dry in shade to avoid fading. Use a hot/warm iron on a cotton setting. Dry cleanable.

 

Bruce Albert Johnson is an enrolled member of the Ponca Tribe of Oklahoma. He is half Ponca on his Mom's side and Half Navajo on his Dad's side from the Mą'iideeshgiizhinii Clan. Bruce grew up here in Oklahoma and Arizona. His Ponca Name is íbe Žąkà= Scissortail.

 

Bruce makes his home in White Eagle, OK, just a stone's throw away from Historic White Eagle Park. Home of The World's Fancy & Straight Dance Contest, during the Annual Ponca Celebration. Bruce is a proud member of the Ponca Hethuska, where he serves as Head Committee Man.

 

Bruce credits his artistic inspirations from both sides of his Family's background filled with Talented Singers Composers, and artists of all kinds. With a heavy influence by his Uncles who were and are Great Straight Dancers and a part of the Ponca Hethuska.

 

Bruce praises the unconditional support of his wife, Kristy Johnson, and his 4 sons: Kris, Andrew, Janssen, and Steven. A lot was in part of getting his Wife, Kids, and himself dressed to participate. He is a talented Ribbonworker, Beadworker, and Leatherworker who loves to sew and create under his brand Red Hawk Originals
