Satin Care Instructions: Cold machine wash, do not bleach. Wash colors separately, do not twist/wring. Tumble dry at a low temperature. Use cool iron.

MaryBeth Timothy is a Native Oklahoman who is pursuing her dreams of creating art and working towards making it accessible to all walks of life. She is enrolled Cherokee Nation and works as a full-time artist/illustrator/business owner. MaryBeth is a self-taught multimedia artist, who features an array of subjects and themes in her art, although she leans towards her love of wildlife. Through her work, she shares her affinity for Oklahoma wild birds, animals, and wildflowers. MaryBeth chooses to create what she feels and loves to tell stories through her work. Her goal is to touch the ones that view it and cause a reaction, whether it be emotional or even a stirring curiosity. Both stimulate conversation about the piece and provide her the opportunity to tell its story. MaryBeth has traveled and participated in art shows and other venues around the country and in Europe.Her work has adorned a variety of magazine covers and is featured in publications such as Indian Country Today, GreenCountry Living, Art Tour International, and OklahomaMagazines. For over ten years, MaryBeth’s work has been selected to be in the Native American Art Calendar (produced by Tribes Gallery; Norman, OK). In 2019, Rogers University TV highlighted MaryBeth in its Cherokee Artist Profile series. In 2020, she illustrated “The Way of the Anigiduwagi” by Traci Sorell in the book, The Talk (CrownBYR, 2020) and the re-release of Cynthia Leitich Smith's book, Indian Shoes (Heartdrum/HarperCollins). In 2022, she completed illustrations for the book, Cherokee EarthDwellers; (University of WA Press) by Chris Teuton; Hastings Shade.
